The Christian Church regards the Lord’s supper a sacred rite, an act of worship, in which the believer partakes of bread and wine as the body and Blood of Christ, to everlasting life. In preparation for our meal, we are to examine ourselves, deeply search our hearts, confessing our sins to God by way of Jesus Christ, our Savior. As a means of grace, we are forgiven, becoming new believers, strengthened in faith, greatly enriched and blessed. We go forth fulfilling Christ’s Mission to the world.
